Applicants must be nationals of the Republic of China (Taiwan), have household registration in Taiwan, and meet the following requirements:
(1)Hold a Certificate of Examination for Teaching Chinese as a Second Language issued by the Ministry of Education, or possess a master’s degree or above in Teaching Chinese as a Second/Foreign Language from an accredited university in Taiwan or a foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education (this is a mandatory requirement for appointment by the ERAU).
(2)Have experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
(3)Be fluent in both Chinese and English; proof of foreign language proficiency is preferred. |

| 其他待遇 |
1. The Daytona Beach Campus in Florida shall provide the Adjoint Faculty Member with the following annual support:
(1) US$8,530 for meals;
(2) US$12,300 for housing; and
(3) US$250 for student programming activities, to be allocated by the academic department chair.
2. The Adjoint Faculty Member will be provided with a private office on campus and will have a dedicated faculty profile page on the university’s official website to present relevant teaching information.
3. Except for the aforementioned allowances and support, all other expenses (including but not limited to transportation, parking, and health insurance) shall be borne by the Adjoint Faculty Member.
4. The Adjoint Faculty Member is not eligible to participate in ERAU’s health insurance or 403(b) retirement plan.
5. In accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations, the Adjoint Faculty Member shall be responsible for paying any applicable federal and state taxes. |
| 教育部補助項目 |
1.聘期內，於當地實際任教期間核給每月生活補助費 1,600 美元。
2.初次應聘赴任時，補助臺灣至任教地往返最直接航程經濟艙機票 1 張（實報實銷，補助款上限 1,750 美元）。
3.初次應聘赴任時，補助 1 次教材教具費 300 美元。 |
| 工作內容 （教學及行政） |
1. Independently teach undergraduate courses in Chinese language.
2. Assist in organizing Taiwanese cultural activities and teach using Taiwanese Mandarin teaching materials.
3. To teach literature and culture courses, relevant academic transcripts must be provided, and course offerings will depend on department need and faculty expertise.
4. Assist in promoting and recruiting for the Taiwan Huayu BEST Scholarship Program between NKNU and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).
5. Assist in teaching Chinese language courses for the Taiwan Huayu BEST Program at NKNU during the summer period in Taiwan when ERAU leading faculty proposed the needs. |
| 教學期間注意事項 |
1. The Adjoint Faculty Member is expected to teach up to five Chinese-related courses per academic year. If the teaching load exceeds five courses in a given academic year, ERAU shall compensate the Adjoint Faculty Member at the prevailing adjunct rate for each additional course taught as overload.
2. ERAU academic leadership reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any course at its discretion. This includes changes to the course time, date, location, or mode of delivery. |

1.申請者應繳交資料如下：
(1) 申請信函（a cover letter）；
(2) 中、英文履歷表並附上華語教學相關證明文件；
(3) 兩封推薦函（中英文皆可）；
(4) 英文能力證明；
(5) 學位證書與碩士級成績單；
(6) 其他有力證明，如符合美國大學的課綱、組織社團等行政溝通力等證明文件。
2.請於收件截止日前，將上述資料統整為1份PDF檔，檔案不超過3MB，並以電子郵件寄至：nknuhuayubest@mail.nknu.edu.tw，主旨請註明「115年臺灣優華語計畫選送華語教師赴ERAU DB任教甄選申請資料」，聯絡人：黃小姐。
3.本案申請者應先於臺灣華語教育資源中心（網址: https://lmit.edu.tw/sc）登錄註冊後，再於通告內點選「我要應徵」，填寫相關資料後並下載履歷電子檔，併同相關佐證資料於收件截止日前寄至承辦人信箱，未完成註冊者，不予錄取。
4.初審履歷資料後，本案尚須經面試。
5.獲選教師必須具備獨立設計課程大綱架構，且能完全獨立於大學課堂中教學之素養與能力。

| 備註 |
1.本案依據「教育部補助華語教學人員赴國外學校任教要點」規定辦理補助及成效考核，受聘教師須經核定始予聘用，赴任前須與本校簽訂行政契約。
2.華語教師補助期間以一年為原則，獲國外學校續聘者得延長補助。
3.優華語計畫獲聘之華語教師不受前揭要點規定有關4年輔助期間限制，續聘超過4年者專案報不核處。
4.本案申請者，經核定錄取，不得再接受其他華語教學人員聘任，倘有上述情事，則註銷當年度其所有華語教學人員錄取資格。
5.本表中未列名之權利義務事項，請於申請時自行向擬聘學校洽明，雙方權利義務關係於聘約中訂明。
6.國內現職國小、中等學校教師請事先取得所屬學校及機關（教育局處）同意並瞭解相關赴任國外期間可能涉及之人事相關規定。又赴海外任教期間無法採計為「退休年資」。
7.現任國內外學校教師，請事先取得所屬機關同意。面試前得先提供相關機構同意證明，未依照程序辦理者，恕不錄取。
8.錄取者請自行辦妥護照與任教國簽證等證件，並自行負擔相關費用，逾期未取得相關證明文件並完成上述相關程序者，喪失本案之錄取資格。
9.任期屆滿請配合校方辦理工作及教學之移交報告及說明，供下一任教師接續執行。
10. 錄取之華語教學人員須參加教育部指定之行前培訓，並於任教期間每半年至「華語教學人才庫」（網址:https://lmit.edu.tw/sc）繕寫任教心得及成效報告（包括當地華語文教育相關資訊），同時無償提供教育部宣傳、推廣或成果發表使用；另應配合教育部華語教學相關活動進行經驗分享。
11. 華語教學人員赴國外學校任教前，應參與行前講習；另每年應參與增能培訓課程，研習時數至少十八小時（研習證明需寄至：nknuhuayubest@mail.nknu.edu.tw 備份）。
12. 如遇不可抗力因素（如：嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎）影響，本通告保有延期、變更或終止之權利。 |
