2024 Fall Chinese Language Learning & Industry Internship Program

Class Introduction:
It's an exceptional opportunity to enhance your professional journeys by participating in the Chinese Language Learning and Industry Internship Program at THU CLC in Taichung, Taiwan.
Tunghai University, a renowned institution recognized for its academic excellence and innovative programs, offers a comprehensive Chinese Language Learning and Industry Internship Program designed to provide students with an immersive experience in both language acquisition and practical industry exposure.
 
Program Highlights
 
  1. Intensive Chinese Language Courses:
    • Tailored for all proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.
    • Emphasis on professional Chinese for business and industry contexts.
       
  2. Industry Internship with Stipend:
    • Placement in leading companies across various sectors including technology, manufacturing, and finance. (see attachment for the list)
    • Monthly stipend of NTD 16,800 for the first semester and NTD 28,000 for the second semester.

  • Duration: First Semester (23rd Sep 2024 - 10th Jan 2025), Second Semester (24th Feb 2025 - 13th Jun 2025)
  • Application Deadline: 15th July 2024
  • Tuition Fee: NTD 55,000 per semester
  • Accommodation: Optional on-campus housing available (NTD 29,000-38,000 for 4 months)
  • Additional Costs: Airfare, health insurance, and living expenses
Application Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Relevant certifications for the internship industry.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Strong interest in Chinese language and culture.
  • Motivation and commitment to fully participate in the program.
