National Chengchi University (NCCU) was founded in 1927, and for more than 9 decades of re-formation and development, we have been upholding our motto, “Harmony, Independence, Balance and Preeminence”, We continue to refine our teaching methods and research in order to nurture talents for our country and the world. We currently have 12 colleges excelling in the Liberal Arts, Law, Commerce, Science, Foreign Languages, Social Sciences, Communication, International Affairs, Education, Innovation, Informatics, Global Banking and Finance. The Chinese Language Center (CLC) was established in 1992 and located in International Building on the campus of NCCU. Our teachers must hold either a degree of Chinese Language Education or certification issued by Ministry of Education of ROC and are mostly well experienced with 5-25 years in teaching. All our classrooms are equipped with multimedia learning devices.

Characterized by a blend of tradition and innovation, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) has long been recognized as one of Taiwan’s elite institutions of higher education. Founded in 1922, NTNU was originally established as an institution dedicated to teacher education. The Chinese Language Center at Shih Chien University was established in 2012. In addition to providing professional language instruction and a supportive learning environment, the Center also aims to help international students gain a deeper understanding of Taiwanese culture and characteristics through language learning, thereby fostering international exchange. Therefore, the Center not only emphasizes language education but also offers a wide variety of cultural courses and activities.
All courses are designed by teachers certified by the Ministry of Education in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, and more than 90% of our instructors hold a master’s degree in a field related to Chinese language teaching. In addition to regular day and evening programs, the Center also provides customized individual classes, special project courses, and short-term camps to meet diverse learning needs.

National Central University (NCU) is one of the top research universities in Taiwan and well- known internationally for its researches on astronomy, earth science, electrical engineering, and computer science. Humanity researches are highly valued and a core part of the research community. NCU collaborated with other three Taiwan top universities and established University System of Taiwan to integrate resources and facilitate cooperation in 2010.
NCU is located in northern Taiwan. There is a highway entrance nearby and students can get to the railway station and HSR station by bus from our campus.

NCHU is the third biggest comprehensive research-based national university in Taiwan. In 2006, NCHU established the Chines Language Center, which offers four terms of Intensive Courses each year, starting in March, June, September, and December, respectively. To ensure quality teaching, we keep our class size small. There are a total of eight levels, from the very basic (Level 1) to intermediate-high level (Level 8). In addition, the Mandarin Courses also cover learning components for students to acquire experiences with traditional culture and traditions, such as mahjong, Kung Fu, to name just a few. For individuals or groups with specific needs, we can tailor the course to you.

Providence University, founded in 1956, is the first Catholic university in central Taiwan. The campus is well known for its pleasant environment, and its library was ranked among the top ten in Taiwan in 2015.
The Chinese Language Education Center (CLEC) was established to provide high-quality Mandarin learning. With small classes of 5 to 10 students and the use of computer-assisted learning tools, the Center emphasizes balanced training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
To help students apply their skills in real-life contexts, the Center offers a “Chinese Corner” for interaction with local Taiwanese students, as well as extracurricular lessons and cultural excursions. These activities allow students to experience Taiwanese culture firsthand while improving their language ability.
Providence University also provides excellent facilities, including free computer labs, library audiovisual resources, a gym, and a swimming pool, ensuring a supportive and well-rounded learning and living environment.
